Every step you take will help fuel the research and care that has made The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society the gold standard of cancer non-profits. In 2020, we were able to come together to climb & conquer Bank of America Plaza in person. As we move closer to 2021, we find that the world around us is filled with uncertainties out of our control. But one thing is certain. No amount of uncertainty can diminish our passion to climb, conquer and cure blood cancers. In 2021, we will tackle Big Climb as a virtual event, climbing from coast to coast together on May 15th as we step up to take cancer down. Join us as we virtually climb the 1,311 steps that would take you to the top of Columbia Center in a few different ways. (The Columbia Center, formerly named the Bank of America Tower and Columbia Seafirst Center, is a skyscraper in downtown Seattle, Washington, United States. The 76-story structure is the tallest building in Seattle and the state of Washington, reaching a height of 933 ft.) On May 15, we will join together virtually for a brief, inspiring Big Climb ceremony with Big Climb participants across the nation before setting out to climb, conquer, and cure. Share your climb by using #BigClimb on social media our Big Climb Facebook page. CLIMB YOUR WAY Climb 1,311 steps in your home, apartment building or even a community park. Tackle 3.2 miles walking, jogging or running to simulate your ascension to the top of 1600 Smith. Challenge yourself with 440 chair step-ups to accomplish your climb!
