Those decisions are especially important in minority communities. Dr. Monique Luisi talks about messaging related to the HPV and COVID-19 vaccines, the influence of media, and the challenges our communities face to raise awareness, build trust, and fight disease. Dr. Luisi Presents is a Science in St. Louis Series partnership program of the The Academy of Science – St. Louis and St. Louis County Library presented in collaboration with the Girls Can STEM Series initiative of The Academy of Science – St. Louis and the Zonta Club of St. Louis.
